In 2003, Luciana guest-starred in an episode of Peacemakers. Set in Silver City, Colorado, in the late 19th century, the show was an unusual crime procedural in that it combined adventure, forensic science and Old West atmosphere. USA Network cancelled Peacemakers after nine episodes.

Unfortunately, judging from the Hulu stream of "No Excuse", it appears Luciana's scene was cut, so pictures are not available.

Episode summary

The discovery of a stranger's dead body at the edge of town ruins the mayor's attempts to promote Silver City to out-of-town investors, but more importantly to Stone the trail of evidence leads directly to his friend Luci, owner of the local saloon and brothel (TV.com).

Luciana's role

Thanks to a shooting script, we know that she portrays Elena, a young Mexican prostitute working in Luci's brothel. When Detective Finch investigates the death of the stranger, he questions Elena in her room. She is not helping, however, trying to seduce him instead (see script excerpt below).

Had it not been cut, Luciana's scene would have started about 16 minutes into the episode.

Script excerpt

Investigating the death of the stranger, Detective Finch questions prostitute Elena in her room at the saloon. Elena, early 20s, Mexican, scantily dressed, lounges barefoot in a chair as Finch examines a red mark on the floor by her bed.

Elena: That's not blood, it's nail polish.

She stretches out a shapely leg toward Finch. Sure enough, her toenails are painted red.

Elena: You like the color?

Finch (her leg has him practically pinned against the bed): It's, uh... fetching.

Elena: You know, for such a strong man... (strokes his cheek)... you have a gentle face.

Finch: I'm curious: Does that sort of line actually work?

Elena (dropping the seductive tone): Hey, I gotta make some money today.

Finch: Did you see the murder victim last night?

Elena: I saw a lot of guys last night.

Finch: I've given you his description. This is a serious matter.

Elena: I am serious.

Finch: You're not answering my questions.

Elena (lies down on her bed): How about you make me?

Finch, exasperated, turns away.
