In early spring 2008, Luciana and science advisor Kevin Grazier joined more than 100 fans who gathered in Las Vegas to celebrate the première of Battlestar Galactica's fourth (and last) season.

"BSGcast in Las Vegas" was held April 4–5, 2007, at the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Activities included interviews, a joint Q&A by Kevin and Luciana, and a BSGcast special edition featuring dozens of fans.
