October 2005 saw Luciana's first venture into the strange realm of conventions. Shortly after the first half of Battlestar Galactica's second season had aired in North America, she attended Vcon 30, Vancouver's annual genre convention. Next to several other guests, Luciana was joined by castmates Leah Cairns (Racetrack), Paul Campbell (Billy Keikeya), and Jen Halley (Diana Seelix), as well as by Battlestar concept designer Eric Chu.
