What's a home without your own Kat? Kat merchandise Peter Glotz (Pedda) | July 11, 2009
Since Diamond Select Toys became the manufacturer of official Battlestar Galactica merchandise in 2007, they have announced and produced a great number of figures, busts and statues. Among them are an action figure and a so-called Minimate that were modeled after Louanne "Kat" Katraine, Luciana's role in Battlestar Galactica.
Whether you want to keep them in their package or not, whether you want to carry them around as a talisman or put them on your sideboard - these two figures are a must for every Kat fan! You can discuss both collectibles here on the Fan Board.
Action figure
This is an articulate, standard six-inch action figure sculpted by Jean St. Jean. Compared with Luciana, the action figure is a little too tall and too slender, for the Kat figure shares its body with the Starbuck figure, a common practice in the industry.

Part of the second series of BSG action figures, a three-pack containing both Kat and Starbuck dressed in a flight suit as well as a Cylon Centurion became available in mid-July 2008.
I already got my order in. It's a dream come true to get my own action figure. Some- times dreams really do come true.
-- Luciana at the Utopia 8 convention
Minimate
An exclusive product line of Diamond Select Toys, Minimates are small, blocky, articulate figures that are around two inches in height.
